Today's agenda involves an exploration of 19th-century historical significance, coupled with an immersion into the creative works of prominent Victorian-era authors.
We will seek inspiration through a respectful stroll within Cedar Grove Cemetery on Henry St, crafting a poem in the style of a renowned piece from that period.
Participants will leverage their observations from the cemetery visit to gain insights into the daily lives and the significant impact of health and well-being during that era, thereby influencing their written work.
These compositions may be considered for submission to our showcase on December 19th.
Kindly bring a packed lunch for a brief picnic during our excursion.
Our activities are scheduled to conclude around 2 PM, with the final location dependent on the pace of inspiration and individual writing preferences.
Pick-up will be within the downtown/Colonial Williamsburg area, and I will ensure that final details are communicated by 1 PM.
